220 g lentils already boiled
200 g potato
30 g breadcrumbs
50 g mixed salad
1/2 clove of garlic
3 teaspoons veg mayonnaise about 7-10 g per sandwich
3 sesame rolls
2 tomatoes
parsley to taste
thyme to taste
salt to taste
For the veg mayonnaise
50 ml soy milk
65 ml sunflower seed oil
7 ml lemon juice
salt to taste


  1. Boil the potatoes with their skins on. Once cooked, peel them and let them cool completely.
  2. Turn the oven on to 200°.
  3. Drain the lentils carefully with a strainer from the cooking liquid, place them together with the potatoes, and add the chopped thyme, parsley, and piece of garlic.
  4. Blend everything until smooth. Add the breadcrumbs and mix quickly.
  5. Now line a baking sheet with baking paper. With the help of a circular pasta cup, shape the burgers: simply place the pasta cup on the baking sheet, fill it with our veggie burger mixture, compact with the spoon and take out the mold and you will get perfectly shaped veggie burgers.
  6. Place your veggie burgers in the oven and let them cook until golden brown.
  7. In the meantime, prepare the veg mayonnaise, it will only take a few seconds: place the soy milk, oil, lemon juice and salt in a cup or large glass, whisk with a blender or minipimer for a few seconds, the mayonnaise will form instantly, thick and creamy.
  8. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  9. Now assemble the buns: open them in half and arrange the veggie burgers, a few salad leaves, tomato and a teaspoon of veg mayonnaise inside. Serve immediately.

The Veggie Burger on a Diet

This recipe balances the plant proteins represented by legumes with the carbohydrates of potatoes and the grains of bread, thus making this dish nutritionally complete.
